I also take part in competitive events and have noticed a significant increase in the number of women taking part in these activities. I know that suppliers now offer far more female specific clothing, but this is not reflected in our local outdoors shops.

Over the years I have used a lot of gear and have a very good idea of what works well and what doesn’t; I know how important it is to have the right gear and have therefore selected the best products from the best suppliers to bring you a range of top quality outdoor gear and accessories.

BeOutdoors policy is not to saturate our website with lots of similar products from lots of suppliers, but to carefully select products from each category that will maximise performance, at a good price, and can also be multi-functional; products you can rely on in the worst conditions on the hills and can also be used for a trip into town!
